QSTECH's LED "Carbon Exploration" Plan: Advancing Green Development Together Towards a Sustainable Future

The company has now officially launched the LED "Carbon Exploration" Plan, establishing a comprehensive carbon footprint system. This initiative focuses on continuous efforts in technology research, product manufacturing, and scenario applications to reduce carbon emissions, thereby creating a "green end-to-end chain."


1. Showcasing Power Savings: Planting Low-Carbon Seeds for the Planet

In 2022 alone, QSTECH's comprehensive range of products achieved an impressive saving of 12.73 million kilowatt-hours of electricity. This milestone also corresponded to a reduction of 13,022 tons of carbon dioxide emissions. This reduction is equivalent to planting 13,022 hectares of broadleaf forests, contributing to cleaner air and a greener future.*

*Based on QSTECH's 2022 shipment volume, calculated using the power consumption differences of products in the energy-saving and environmental protection era.

*Calculated using annual shipment volume of 53,000 square meters; indoor products operating 8 hours a day and outdoor products 14 hours a day, with a 360-day annual estimate for maintenance downtime: Annual power savings = 35,365 * 360 ≈ 12.73 million kWh.

*According to the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) "Life-Cycle Assessment of Electricity Generation" report: Each kWh of electricity saves approximately 1,023 grams of CO₂; 12,730,000 * 1,023 / 1,000 / 10,000 ≈ 13,022 tons of CO₂.

*According to the UNECE report: One hectare of broadleaf forest can absorb 1,000 kg of CO₂ per day; The carbon reduction of 13,022 tons of CO₂ is equivalent to planting 13,022 hectares of broadleaf forest.

This technology can adaptively regulate output voltage and maintain stability at the saturation voltage level, thereby minimizing screen power consumption and significantly contributing to energy conservation and environmental protection.

●Green Modern Supply Chain System:

From R&D, design, manufacturing, distribution, and use, QSTECH monitors the carbon footprint throughout the product lifecycle. By strictly controlling carbon emissions, the company has developed a green, low-carbon, energy-efficient supply chain, ensuring transparency and management of product carbon emissions.

●Multiple Robust Certifications:

Responding to green initiatives and environmental policies, QSTECH has obtained the ISO 50001 Energy Management System certification, with its channel products also receiving the CQC Global Carbon Footprint Certification. To date, QSTECH has led or participated in drafting nine national, industry, and group standards in China, including energy efficiency limit values for displays and technical specifications for indoor small-pitch/Mini LED displays.
