Guests watch live sports from close range, while daylight enters through the open sides of the venue. The display therefore had to combine outdoor-grade brightness with a pixel pitch that stays sharp at close viewing distances. It needed a slim form factor and a mounting design compatible with the existing covered structure, and to operate efficiently during long trading hours.
Why a fine-pitch outdoor LED display
Three options were relevant for this setting. A conventional LCD solution would require careful consideration of daylight glare, protective enclosure requirements and installation weight. A larger-pitch outdoor display may not provide the level of image detail required for close-range sports viewing. Installation Within the Existing Architecture
Suspending the screen positions content at a comfortable viewing height for more than one seating zone. The display sits within the existing opening rather than appearing as a separate architectural object, and the black screen surface works with the dark backing wall, timber and planted surroundings.
