In September 2025, Xi'an International Football Center hosted the 2026 AFC U23 Asian Cup qualifying matches, the first international football event held at the newly built venue. More than 10,000 spectators attended the matches, while a 532-metre QSTECH LED ring screen above the stands carried match information, replays, lineups and sponsor messages throughout the event.

Xi'an International Football Center — 60,000 fixed seats, designed and built to FIFA and AFC standards.
Covering a 280-mu site with a total construction area of 239,000 square meters, Xi'an International Football Center has 60,000 fixed seats and two standard outdoor training fields. Designed and built in accordance with FIFA and AFC standards, the Class-A professional football venue can host all international Class-A football events except the FIFA World Cup opening ceremony.
For the venue team, the U23 qualifiers were more than a tournament. They were the building's first public examination — the first time the pitch, the broadcast compound and the in-stadium systems all ran under international match conditions at the same time. The banner display had three jobs: stay readable to 60,000 people in daylight, stay flicker-free for television cameras, and keep running through every matchday without attention.

The QSTECH S series screens run along the top of the grandstand and wrap the full bowl — 532 metres in a continuous loop, 0.8 metres high, 425.6 m² in total, at a 6 mm pixel pitch. Positioned above the seating tiers, the display is designed to remain visible across the bowl, so spectators can read scores, replays and match information without turning away from the pitch.

The 532 m × 0.8 m QSTECH banner display runs the full 360° of the bowl above the grandstand.
The stadium's architecture draws on what its designers call the spirit of the Zhou, Qin, Han and Tang dynasties. The display system was kept deliberately plain — a slim, unbroken band that reads as part of the building rather than equipment bolted onto it.

A slim, unbroken band of screen that reads as part of the building's design language.
Outdoor football places demanding requirements on LED displays. QSTECH's sports display configurations address these requirements with the following capabilities:
● Brightness up to 7,000 nits, depending on configuration.High-brightness configurations are designed to maintain readable content in direct sunlight and other changing outdoor conditions.15,000 Hz refresh rate. The high refresh rate is designed to reduce visible flicker and scanning artifacts when the display is captured by broadcast cameras — or filmed on a spectator's phone.
● 160° viewing angle. The 160° viewing angle is designed to maintain a consistent image across a wide section of the seating bowl.
● IP66 protection. The screen is sealed against rain and dust, which matters in an open-air venue that operates through autumn weather.

High brightness and a 15,000 Hz refresh rate keep the picture clean for fans and broadcast cameras alike.
For the venue operator, the ring display supports sponsor messages, match information and crowd communication across the full 532 metres. The display gives the venue a continuous visual channel for event content and commercial messages before, during and after matches.

The qualifying matches closed on 9 September, with the banner display in use throughout the tournament window. Xi'an International Football Center now moves into its role as the city's home for international football, with its stadium display system deployed and operating under tournament conditions.
For QSTECH, the project extends a reference list that already includes the UEFA European Championship, the FIFA World Cup and clubs across the Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, the Bundesliga and Ligue 1.

QSTECH sports display references include the UEFA Euro, the FIFA World Cup and Europe's top five leagues.

The listed product performance figures are based on CVTE laboratory testing and may vary by model, configuration and operating conditions.
An LED banner display is a continuous horizontal screen that wraps the interior of a stadium bowl, usually mounted above the seating tiers. It is sometimes called a fascia display, ribbon board or LED ring screen. It shows scores, replays, match information and sponsor advertising to the entire crowd at once.
Broadcast cameras scan a screen many times per second. A display with a low refresh rate can produce visible flicker and rolling dark bands on camera. A high refresh rate — 15,000 Hz in QSTECH's sports series — is designed to keep the image stable for both HD broadcast and spectators filming with phones.
As a rule of thumb, screens exposed to direct sunlight need around 5,000 nits or more to stay readable. QSTECH's sports display configurations reach up to 7,000 nits, depending on the selected model.
A stadium LED ring display can show match information, lineups, replays, sponsor messages, announcements and other event content. The available content functions depend on the display control system and the final project configuration.
Operators should confirm viewing distance, daylight exposure, pixel pitch, brightness, refresh rate, protection rating, maintenance access, control requirements and the display's role in match content and sponsor communication.
Whether you are fitting out a new venue or upgrading an existing display system, QSTECH's sports team can help you size, specify and deliver it.
